About Me

My photo
hello, I'm Olivia, or Liv, maybe on occasions Livvy. I won't do the whole 'I'm 17, live in a house' shit, because we all know no-one actually gives a fuck. I'm ridiculously sarcastic, and I swear in practically every sentence, but I'm actually extremley shy. So shy, I rarely talk in group situations. I imagine saying something and just watching the whole group turn around and just give me that dreaded look of 'WHAT THE FUCK?'. So yeah, that's me, a socially awkward teenger, with a huge passion for fashion and kurt cobain. let's be friends.

Marilyn Manson you fool.

In my opinion, one of the most beautiful women in the world today. I adore her style, her hair, her skin. Perfection. I dyed my hair black because i just longed to look like her! She's just a beaut.
This picture of her was taken at the 90th Anniversary of French Vogue, talk about stealing the spotlight!

the love of my lifeeee.

My mom is a huge fan of 40's and 50's movies, and recently got me obsessed with them. she then introduced me to this man, Mr. Jim Dean. she said 'I bet you'll fall absolutely in love with him,' and she was right. He was a tortured man, never feeling like he belonged, always feeling awkward and uncomfortable. there were lots of speculations over his sexuality, which added to his torment. he died after only making 3 films, but is considered one of Hollywood's greats.
Watch Rebel Without A Cause and see for yourself.
'Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.'

James Dean.

crank your pencils out peeps.

so we had our first drawing lesson with Adam on Friday, and I gotta say, I really enjoyed it. we were asked to pick an object out of a variety of hanging bones (some which were real apparently, ew) and to draw them. simple eh? well, not exactly. firstly, we had to draw the object in 30 seconds, then 10 seconds, then with our opposite hand, then holding the pencil with just our thumb to support it, and then, the icing on top of the poorly baked cake, we got into pairs and had to gudie the other person's hand to make the drawing.
yeah, the pictures weren't that great.

cleopatra, coming at chaa...

My love for Elizabeth Taylor has being growing for years, ever since my mom told me one morning when i was about five that my eyebrows were verging on looking like Elizabeth Taylor's. At the time I was a skinny puny excuse for a kid, with a mass of light brown hair but these thick black eyebrows (thanks Dad). Of course, at five, I hadn't even heard of Liz, and decided to check her out. Ever since I've longed for her looks, her talent and her strength. Her marriages to Richard Burton have always fascinated me, how much they loved for each other, but alcohol was one of the many factors that tore them apart. Richard sent Liz a letter, telling her he still loved her, and that he wanted a reunion. He died 3 days later, and the reunion never happened. Liz has since said that Richard will always be the love of her life, and if that's not a love story, then I don't know what the hell is.
Oh, and she is my eyeliner IDOL.

Utter perfection. That's all I can say.

Summer vaycayy.

A week of drinking, laughing, getting ridiculously burnt, taking awful pictures, pissing as many people off as possible, late nights, late mornings, suncream everywhere, BLISTERS, and the odd trip to the beach. GOOD TIMES.
